Input File Manipulation Combine Files

This function allows combination of multiple FASTA files into one FASTA file. The Combine function is located under the Input menu in the PyMood Blast Launcher window.
A number of files may be combined together, or all files in a selected folder (directory) may be concatenated.

1. If 'Combine files' was clicked you will be asked to select the files for concatenation. When you have selected the indicated number of files, click 'Cancel' and type the new combined file name with any one of the following extensions: .faa, .ffn, .fasta, .pep, .seq, and click 'Save'.

2. If 'Combine directory' was clicked you will be asked to select the folder where all files to be concatenated are located. You should select any file in that folder and click 'Open.' Then type the new file name with anyone of the following extensions: .faa, .ffn, .fasta, .pep, .seq, and click 'Save'. All files in this folder will be concatenated into the new file.
